First, no. HP will NOT cover intentional damage to your system.

Second, you can’t install and official copy of MacOS X onto a PC as it won’t run on the BIOS nor on those processors. The Intel processors are not the same – there are differences.

Lastly, even if you were able to get it to run, the BIOS would not be destroyed, it would need to be replaced with a Mac-supporting one which would look for the motherboard hardware that identifies Apple hardware vs. hacked hardware.

Firstly if your HP came with Linux or Microsoft then they will not cover the warranty in case of bios damage.

Secondly if you want to test your Mac OS x, why don’t you do this on a IBM compatible PC instead risking a branded PC ?.

If you wanna learn in life, experience others doing it mostly.

No, it will not destroy your BIOS and no HP will not cover any purposefully destruction.

You are not updating BIOS when you install Mac OS X Or installing Vista or any other OS for that matter.

you can only corrupt the bios, while updating it, you switch it off.

Why don’t you use vmware to installl Mac OS X if it is only for Testing Purposes
