i am looking into getting a job with apple as a application programer (http://jobs.apple.com/index.ajs?BID=1&method=mExternal.showJob&RID=39686&CurrentPage=1) and i want to know what college would follow thier requirements and would teach all the things i need to know in order to become a computer software application engineer?
here are some of the guidelines (full guide lines are in the provided link)
*Experience with test case automation tools and languages such as WinRunner, Automator or AppleScript.
*Experience with web technologies(php, ajax, etc).
Experience developing both applications and frameworks on Mac OS X.
*Experience with UNIX systems.
*B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
*Must be proficient in at least one of the following languages: Ruby, Python or shell scripting. Experience in the other two preferred.

This sounds more like a test automation role rather than an application programmer role. If that is the case then you would increase your chances of gaining such a role by gaining as much relevant experience as possible. Gaining experience these days can be far easier than you think if you undertake some small jobs on sites like uTest, oDesk or RentaCoder. There are many companies looking for a bit of online testing and test automation resources. So completing a few jobs successfully on these sites would provide you with some great examples for your resume and potentially references. I would also give you a taster of this type of work which might help you with your career choices.
