Instead of trying to use that CD again, go to HPs web-site and in the support department, punch in the model number of your printer. There should be an “up to date” driver download that is MAC OSX compatible. Download that driver – following their instructions carefully – and it should work. I had to do the very same thing for an HP 7310 that I have tied in with mine, and everything works fine. I hope this helped.
