My MAC pigment is really dense. How to use it?

test mac

I bought the color Frozen White, it goes on smooth when i use a Q-tip and test it on my hand, but when i apply it with my brush it goes on sorta clumpy (cuz its so dense.. and chunky) and color doesnt look same. its not the brush, its the eyeshadow pigment… its just denses thats how its made. the store’s demo sample was like that too.

you could try mixing with another brand’s make up, like a more liquid, flowing one in order to try and make it smoother and paler if it would make it look better

I have the same problem with my MAC Paint Pot. I think the key is to always use your finger to apply because the warmth of your skin helps smooth it on with less clumpage. I start small, then work your way up with more color.

if you wet your brush and then put it on its chunky at first but smooths out and it changes the color completely

put some water with it and mix it till its not ruiny but no longer chunky or put it on and rub ur eyelid but when u do that u have to put alot on so that it wont be to light the water thing worked on the one i got which was the same color and brand so id try that
