Yesterday, a green vertical line (from top to bottom) appeared almost at the middle of my screen. I have done my apple hardware test, reinstalled MAC OS, reinstalled Win XP and even reinstalled the latest Intel GMA 945GT Express Chipset video driver (which is supposed to be compatible – knew this after running the hardware test).
But the irritating line is still there? Any other solutions for me? Thanks a lot!
Possibly, it could be just a pixelated error on your screen. It could just be a monitor failure, and not an Operating System thing
Like Chris said, it’s probably just a pixelated error.
And why would you want to install Windows on your Mac…
You never said what kind of Mac you had. If it’s a laptop or one of the Imacs with a video port, try an external monitor.
Now you know one of the worst things about macs. Instead of a $100 monitor, you have to replace the whole machine.
