im currently installing windows 7 on my other pc.
it has a 2.4Ghz intel celeron single processor
1.5gb off ddr ram
a 50gb seagate barracuda hdd (i had a spare just for OS testing)
and a onboard graphics chip wich is the equialent of a nvidia tnt2 riva
i know it wont be able to use windows aero
but whats your opinion
will there be lagg?
any problems?
it runs windows vista great
and it runs xp a little bleh
and it runs ubuntu 9.04 amazing
and it runs mac OSX86 leopard decently well
i have 5 harddrives each containing a different OS(incuding the one i just added)
and a seperate 500gb one for files to share across platforms
i have every other hdd unplugged
i just plug it in when i need the os and i keep my files on at al times

windows 7 ran amazing on the pc im using right and and i had the setting to
1gb ram
1-core (out of 8)@ 2.5ghz
and standard VGA graphics
and it ran decently well
i guess ittll still run well without the highj-tech graphics
im thinking of investing 60$ to buy a decent card for graphics though
(i used vmware 6.5 to test it on this PC)
It will probably be slow.
The performance will be slightly better than Vista
