Well I got into Mac Rob last year and I attend Mac Rob at the moment. The truth is that you will never know what the standard score is. The way they rank you against other people who are tested is through your aggregate score which is the total score. So as long as you do OK in everything, you should be fine. They change the test and the standard level every year so there’s no way you can know. To have a chance of getting in, you need to get above a set standard that the school chooses. So basically the school filters through every test until there’s only the people above the set standard left. Then they separate the results into separate schools and take the best 3%. They put those on a list and choose only 214 of that 3%. The other 11 people that can enter the school are chosen through the Principal’s Discretionary Category which is a shortlist of people who almost made it in. Please don’t stress. Don’t make yourself study too much either. I didn’t study at all. If you have any questions email me:. I hope I helped.
